The Oculus C550d multibeam sonar from Blueprint Subsea is a sensor helping the operator navigate, identify objects and increase situational awareness under the surface.

It is an entry-level sonar useful when diving in murky waters, for search and recovery missions, or for jobs where you cannot rely on a camera solely to locate your target of interest.

In-app sonar viewer: follow the sonar imagery directly in the Blueye app

The sonar viewer is fully integrated into the Blueye app, removing the need for 3-party software running on a secondary device. The sonar viewer allows you to measure objects using touch, adjust gain and range, record and capture visuals, and export files for further data processing.

Some of the sonar controls are even available directly from the Xbox or Blueye Rugged Controller too, such as adjusting gain, range and the tilt angle of the sonar.

The integration with the Blueye X3 ROV enables the operator to adjust the sonar vertically from -30° to 30° directly from the Blueye app.
